You Are Not Alone

Everyone needs guidance.  Everyone.  If you’re an athlete, you have a coach. If you’re a mountaineer, you have a Sherpa, if you’re at a crossroads and struggle with mental health, you talk to a therapist.

I know therapy can feel scary and vulnerable.  Just the thought of it can feel overwhelming and exhausting. And yes, it can even feel risky. It takes courage to confront fears and ask for help.  Sometimes we feel stuck and don’t know how to get unstuck. Fortunately, there is a solution.

The first step is becoming aware. And… by the looks of it, you have already taken the first step, otherwise you would not be looking at this website.  I want to commend you for taking the first step. We need to accept where we are in order to move forward.

I believe in people’s resilience and their ability to change. I have seen people’s lives transform through therapy. Is it easy? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

What Can Therapy Do For Me?   

Painful life events can lead to anxiety, depression, negative self-talk, low self-esteem, and difficulties in emotional regulation. It can have a profound effect on our mental health, life-style choices and the partners we pick.  Left untreated, we can find ourselves in self-destructive and risky behavior.
