Approach

Therapy does not have to be a long and drawn out process. I believe in an integrative approach to counseling. This means that I borrow from many different theories and methods and most importantly, I believe in strength-based, client-centered and empowerment-focused in whatever we do.

Your time is valuable. EMDR is a proven and effective method for treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety and self-destructive behavior.  EMDR is not talk therapy.  Your brain can process information faster than you can talk, therefore it is a quicker method of therapy. You do not have to share with me what you do not want to share in order to have successful therapy. What you choose to share is up to you. You’re in control and you can set the pace.
